About the ICF World Cup Standings

 

The winner of the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup is the Athlete in each class with the most points accrued at the end of the World Cup Series of racing.
 
World Cup Standings points are awarded according to the Athlete’s standing in each race in the series. The points system is available here
 
For the calculation of the overall standings in the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Series, the three World Cup races count as well as the best result in any preceding Continental Championships that was open to all continents.
 
The following races are included in the 2010 World Cup Series;
 
Race 1                        Oceania Open Continental Championship            Penrith, AUS, 19–21 Feb
Race 2                        Asian Continental Championships                        Xia Si, CHN, 1-3 May
Race 3                        World Cup 1                                                           Prague, CZE 18-20 June
Race 4                        World Cup 2                                                           La Seu De Urgell, ESP, 26-27 June
Race 5                        World Cup 3                                                           Augsburg GER, 2-4 July
