International
The ICF endorses and recognises many canoeing competitions around the world that are organised using ICF rules and regulations and procedures. There are over 250 of these kinds of races each year. They are international invitation races and National Federations are free to enter their athletes. Generally, these are one-off competitions that are organised by local NFs.
Examples of these kinds of races include the Lake Placid International for Canoe Sprint and Canoe Marathon and the Wildwater Canoeing Soca International. These are just a couple of examples, see the Event Calendar for a full list of International Competitions.
