The Barton Mold: Canoe Sprint

Back in 1992, Bill Endicott wrote 'The Barton Mold' about the career of two-time Canoe Sprint Olympic champion, Greg Barton. It was subsequently published by USA Canoe-Kayak and it was sold in hard copy for many years.

Now, it’s been some time since Barton won the Seoul Olympics in 1988, however many people still find the book useful. Sure, there have been advances in boat design, swivel seats and training at altitude, but many of the basics remain the same as in Barton’s time.

Hard copies of the book are still available through USA Canoe-Kayak, contact them at info@usack.org.

If you have any comments about the book, you can address them to Bill at endicottwt@aol.com.
