Today at the International Canoe Federation's Extra Ordinary Congress in Baku, Azerbaijan members approved the ICF Board of Directors new governance proposal.

The structures main changes see continental presidents added to the ICF Executive Committee, plus the assurance of representation of both genders across the three elected vice-president positions.

The new structure that candidates will contest at tomorrow’s elections during the  XXXVI ICF Congress is as follows:

XXXVI ICF Congress is from the 25-26 November with elections for all positions marked with an asterisk (*) above.

However, the president and the canoe slalom, canoe marathon, medical and anti-doping, wildwater, freestyle, ocean racing and paracanoe chairs are standing unopposed with the current incumbent set to continue for the next four years.
