National federations considering options for training camps ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games now have a list of options being made available by host nation France.

The Paris Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committee 2024 has identified a series of “Games Preparation Centres” (GPC) within France and its Territories which will be available for national federations to use as training venues ahead of Paris 2024.

A total of 38 centres have been identified in 12 different regions of Metropolitan France, as well as overseas territories Guadeloupe, Reunion and French Guiana. Two of the centres can cater for both sprint and slalom training.

Each centre will offer services and features to enable athletes the best possible preparation for one of the biggest moments of their lives. This will include accommodation, catering, transport and security.

"This is a wonderful initiative, and we are very grateful to the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committee, and of course our very good friends at the French Canoe and Kayak Federation, for making these excellent facilities available to us," ICF President, Thomas Konietzko, said.

"We are almost halfway through this shortened Olympic cycle, so federations are well into the planning stage ahead of the 2024 Games. These training options will be welcomed by many of our teams."
