France's Boris Neveu and the Czech Republic's Amalie Hilgertova won the final Slalom cross battle of the season as Saturday's action at the 2016 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup concluded in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Hilgatova outwitted her opposition round the top section of the course and managed to out sprint Martina Wegman to secure gold.

Neveu was even more dominant and led from the front casually waiting at gates for his counterpart to move out of the way before he powered to victory.
