A total of 28 countries from four continents have now confirmed canoe sprint quotas for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The quotas were allocated after this year’s ICF Sprint World Championships in Duisburg. Host nation Germany earned the most athlete quota places in Paris, with 17, while Spain and Hungary both earned 15 Olympic starters.

Six nations earned just one athlete quota place – Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia and USA.

Countries will get a further chance to earn quotas at their continental championships. Only the men’s and women’s K4 have been fully allocated. There are a total of 236 quota places available – 117 each for men and women.

The continental qualifiers are as follows;
