Volunteers
One of the critical factors of success in the international events that Portuguese Canoeing is organizing this year is the people and their emotional involvement with the competition and with the sport.
The recruitment process of the necessary volunteers for the different events has started. The organizing committee has decided to prioritize the involvement of young athletes and other individuals connected with canoeing and canoeing clubs. It is their belief that this experience will strengthen the connection between all members of the canoeing family and that it will play a decisive role in the success of the events' organization.
With this in mind, this week we launched the first information campaign on the volunteer applications, targeting the almost 100 clubs affiliated with the Portuguese Canoeing Federation.
To enter in our volunteer recruitment process, applicants just have to fill in the application form available HERE.
Although still prioritizing people connected with canoeing, at this stage, we already accept all applications regardless of their connection with the sport.
