Toshi Furuya
About
Toshi has been a member of the ICF CSP Committee since 2000. He served 4 Olympic Games from Athens 2004 to Rio 2016 as an International Technical Official (ITO). He has worked as Canoe Sports Manager for Canoe Sprint & Paracanoe in Tokyo 2020. He started his career as an athlete in 1982, then he coached many Japanese top athletes in his club and in the national team. Toshi was elected as the Canoe Sprint Committee Chair at the ICF Congress in Rome, November 6th, 2021.
He is an Executive Board Member of Japanese Olympic Committee.
