Great Britain’s Hope Gordon secured her first-ever women’s KL3 title at the International Canoe Federation Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Cup in Brandenburg, Germany.
Charlotte Henshaw also struck gold, winning the women’s KL2 crown to set up an intriguing women’s VL3 battle on Sunday.
A time of 46.85 was enough for Gordon to take the women’s KL3 title, beating France’s Nelia Barbosa who crossed in 47.72 for silver.
Germany’s Felicia Laberer also battled hard as she claimed bronze in 48.03.

“That’s my first international gold in kayak so that means a lot,” said Gordon.
“Great Britain has had the top spot in that event for quite a while so I wanted to try to keep that way.”

Henshaw was in a league of her own as she cruised to the women’s KL2 title in 49.27.
Germany’s Anja Adler was a distant second in 53.10 as Hungary’s Katalin Varga secured bronze in 53.17.
“I am really grateful to be here, hitting it out with the best in the world and still managing to take the win which never gets old,” said Henshaw.
“I am really proud of what Hope has managed to do since she has been in the sport.
“We always have good battles, so whatever happens, happens.”
There was a sensational finish to the men VL3 final as Paralympic champion Yepifanov snatched victory from Great Britain’s Stuart Wood.
Yepifanov just did enough to win in 48.44, edging out Wood who took silver in 48.56 and Brazil’s Giovane Vieira de Paula secured bronze in 49.00.

Brazil’s Fernando Rufino de Paulo powered to the men’s VL2 crown in 53.44.
There was a fantastic battle for the other two medal position as Ukraine’s Andrii Krychun sealed silver in 54.96 and Great Britain’s Edward Clifton bagged bronze in 55.07.
Wollermann won the first Paracanoe gold medal of the day as she stormed to the women’s KL1 title.
The Paralympic champion triumphed in 56:76 as China’s Maosan Xie earned silver in 58.66 and Individual Neutral Athlete Aleksandra Dupik bagged bronze in 1:00.29.
Kiss, another Paralympic gold medallist, captured the men’s KL1 title after cruising to victory in 47.09.
The silver medal went to Brazil’s Luis Carlos Cardoso Da Silva after finishing in 49.85, while France’s Remy Boulle secured bronze in 50.65.
