Athletes, coaches and support staff are all encouraged to register for the International Testing Agency IF Webinar Series Edition #3 on anti-doping, beginning on September 26.
Clean sport and education are of high priority for the ICF, with the 2023 IF Webinar Series seeing an average attendance of 90 per webinar.
The five-part webinar this year will kickstart with an introduction to anti-doping, including discussing Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRVs) with the help of a legal expert.
The second part on October 3 will focus on the doping control process, from notification to blood and urine sample collection to sample analysis.
Delays, partial and diluted samples and other modifications to the sample collection process will also be covered.
That will be followed by a session on medications, supplements, prohibited list and Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs) on October 10 before the fourth part on October 17 which will focus on values, consequences and reporting, where what can influence doping-related decision-making will be highlighted.
The final part of the webinar on October 24 will be about out-of-competition testing, including explaining what it means to be included in the Registered Testing Pool.
There will also be information on what the additional responsibilities are, how to provide your whereabouts, tips for using The Anti-Doping Administration & Management System (ADAMS) and the handy Athlete Central app.
All five parts of the webinar will be available in English, Arabic, French, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, and Spanish, with a certificate being awarded to participants who attended all five sessions.
