Fans could not have hoped for a better scenario as this season’s International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Cup Series comes to an end this week.
With overall titles to fight for in canoe, kayak and the super-hit kayak cross, following its Olympic debut at Paris 2024, the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Final in La Seu is sure to excite the paddling community.
With double points on offer for athletes and the race wide open in all categories, the action in Spain will start with men’s and women’s kayak heats on Thursday (September 19).
On Friday (September 20), the overall kayak World Cup champions among men and women will be determined along with canoe heats for both.
The men’s canoe titles will be awarded on Saturday (September 21), followed by kayak cross time trials, heats and medal races on Sunday (September 22).
The ICF is working with a growing collection of broadcast partners to ensure the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Final is televised around the world.
TV stations in France, Australia, New Zealand, Slovakia, Slovenia, China, Brazil, Spain and Czechia will broadcast the event.
The ICF’s World Feed broadcast will also be streamed around the globe on the Planet Canoe YouTube channel, available to signed-up members.
