Riding on a wave of excitement after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Canoe Slalom action returns to the global stage with kayak cross poised to star again.
The fourth International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Cup of the season will take place in Ivrea, Italy and will be broadcast all over the world.
It is the first ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup to be held since Paris 2024 where kayak cross made its Olympic debut.
Kayak cross will feature on the final day of competition in Ivrea, with all the men’s and women’s races held on Sunday (September 15).
Before then, the kayak titles will be determined on Friday (September 13) and the canoe finals will be staged on Saturday (September 14).
The ICF is working with a growing collection of broadcast partners to ensure the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup is televised around the world.
TV stations in Australia, Brazil, People’s Republic of China, Czechia, France, New Zealand, Slovakia and Slovenia will broadcast the event.
The ICF’s World Feed broadcast will also be streamed around the globe on the Planet Canoe YouTube channel, available to signed-up members.
