Almost 200 athletes from more than 30 countries across all five continents have gathered in Ljubljana, Slovenia for the penultimate International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Cup of the season.
The Tacen Whitewater Centre is playing host from Friday to Sunday as paddlers look to secure crucial ranking points in the race to become an ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Series champion.
Titles will be contested in the men’s and women’s canoe, kayak, kayak cross individual and kayak cross over three thrilling days of competition.
The ICF is working with a growing collection of broadcast partners to ensure the World Cup is televised worldwide.
TV stations in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Czechia, New Zealand, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and United States will broadcast the competition.
In addition, the ICF’s world feed broadcast will be streamed around the globe on the Planet Canoe YouTube channel available to signed-up members.
The commentary will be led by ICF Lead Commentator Ross Solly.
