Olympic silver medallist Klaudia Zwolinska of Poland returned to the top as the International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Ranking events returned with the Grand Prix Bratislava 2025.
With the fourth of the five-part ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Series set to take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, later this month, many of the stars used it as an opportunity to stay in the groove.
Among them was Paris 2024 star Zwolinska, who took the women's kayak gold in 98.09.
Yet to make a mark in this season's World Cups, the Pole will hope this is the start of a good run, as she took the title despite a gate touch.
Sona Stanovska of Slovakia and Coline Charel of France bagged silver and bronze, respectively.
World and European medallist Alja Kozorog of Slovenia finished first in the women's canoe in 106.39, getting the better of second-placed Nele Bayn of Germany, before Stanovska added to her tally.
It was a French double in the men's finals thanks to Edgar Paleau-Brasseur and Jules Bernardet.
Paleau-Brasseur came up with a clean run and was the fastest in the K1, finishing 3.15 ahead of silver medallist Jan Hermansky of Czechia in 89.05, with bronze going to Italian Tommaso Barzon.
Bernardet cruised to C1 gold in 91.22, beating Czechia's Vaclav Chaloupka and compatriot Jules Latimer, who stood second and third on the podium, respectively.
Bratislava also hosted short slalom as athletes from Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Czechia triumphed.
Kozorog finished with two titles when she won C1 short slalom gold, followed by Eva Rihova of Czechia and Italian Marta Bertoncelli.
Francesca Malaguti stole the show in the women's K1 short slalom in 63.12, while Stabovska got her third and final medal, finishing second in 65.60, and bronze went to Christin Heydenreich of Germany.
In the men's K1 short slalom, there was a Slovakian double, with Martin Halcn taking top spot and compatriot Jakub Grigar finishing 0.36 behind for silver in 52.49.
Paleau-Brasseur got his second medal of the weekend, taking bronze in 53.74.
Jan Vetrovsky helped Czechia to gold in the men's C1 short slalom, with a clean run in 56.35 as two French athletes sealed the remaining spots on the podium.
Silver went to Tanguy Adisson in 56.54 while Bernardet secured bronze in 56.57.
