Kayak cross Olympic gold medallist Noemie Fox signed the Olympians Wall at the Olympic House in Lausanne, Switzerland.
An honour and tradition for Olympians, particularly champions, the Australian was in Lausanne to attend the Innovation in Action Programme, a scholarship course delivered by the IMD Business School in partnership with the IOC and UEFA.
While taking time off and challenging herself in a new way as a student, Fox also had the opportunity to share the prestigious moment with other athletes and IOC President Kirsty Coventry.
“Signing the Olympian’s Wall at the Olympic House in Lausanne!” she wrote on social media.
“Eyes just constantly glistening with little tears of joy and gratitude.
“So special to share this moment with my new friends and our remarkable IOC President Kirsty, who, despite reigning over an entire empire, knows her subjects and makes the time to meet everyone with such grace and warmth.”

This year also saw her being recognised in the Australia Day Honours list with an Order of Australia Medal (OAM).
The OAM is awarded to all Australians who make a service worthy of particular recognition, with Fox receiving hers for service to sport, incuding the gold medal at Paris 2024.
She now joins her sister and multiple Olympic champion Jessica Fox, who has also signed the Olympians wall and was awarded the OAM a few years ago.
Earlier this year, double Olympic gold medallist and multiple world champion Ronald Rauhe added his name to the Olympians Walls.
In 2023, four-time Olympian and ICF Development Manager and Flatwater Technical Advisor Sebastian Cuattrin added his signature.
