Tickets have been released for the 2026 International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Slalom World Championships in Oklahoma City, United States. 

The ICF flagship event will take place from July 20 to 25 at The Whitewater Center – the Canoe Slalom venue for the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028. 

More than 300 athletes from around 50 countries will battle it out for world titles in canoe, kayak, and kayak cross on the world-class whitewater course.

“This is an incredible opportunity for fans in North America to see the world’s best paddlers compete on an Olympic-calibre course,” said Christ Sorensen, Executive Director for RIVERSPORT OKC.  

“With the city hosting the Canoe Slalom venue for the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028, this event will be a thrilling preview of Olympic-level competition.”

Fans who attend will not only witness intense international competition but also enjoy daily entertainment and a variety of food and beverage options throughout the event.  

A special Opening Ceremony is also planned for Saturday, July 19.

This event will mark the first time in more than a decade that the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships will be held in North America, underscoring Oklahoma City’s growing reputation as a premier destination for international water sports.
