Cyril Nivel

About
Cyril Nivel has been serving as the Global Director of Operations at ICF since 2024.
He fell in love with paddle sport when he was 14, thanks to a school teacher who inspired him.
That passion doubled when French paddler Sylvain Curinier, who was from his local club, qualified for the Olympic Games Barcelona 1992, and clinched silver in the K1.
From then on, paddle sport coursed through his DNA. Cyril entered the world of working in sport with the French Canoe Kayak
Federation as a volunteer with the Canoe Slalom committee, supporting the delivery of National Championships.
He has worked in the development of most paddle sport disciplines, with a career highlight as the Canoe and Paracanoe Sport
Manager at a home Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
Cyril excels at structured projects and fostering synergy and efficiency in multi-cultural sports environments.
