Khushwant ‘Khush’ Ramesh

About

His career is driven by a lifelong passion for the power of sport and a commitment to enhancing how we experience it. This journey began with him as a copywriter in advertising for sports brands, amongst others, and then on to as a sports correspondent covering the Olympic Games, Formula 1 and football for global outlets. This early immersion in sports storytelling provided him with a unique perspective on audience engagement, which he later channeled into a six-year tenure at the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

During his time at the IOC, he focused on building digital bridges for the global athlete community, ensuring that athletes remained at the heart of the Olympic Movement – through a wide-ranging digital transformation effort of the Athlete365 programme. This involved taking it from its humble single-platform beginnings to what is now a burgeoning ecosystem capable of fulfilling its founding vision.

At the ICF, he once again operates at the intersection of sport and technology as the Head of Sport Information & Digital Innovation. By navigating the space between technical innovation and stakeholder strategy, he leads the design of scalable digital solutions that modernise how the ICF, as a sports organisation, connects with its stakeholders.

His goal is to continue leveraging emerging technologies to create more intuitive, impactful experiences for athletes, their entourage, our fans and commercial partners worldwide.
