Expand and Extend Women Canoeing in Morocco - 2016

Launched in 2013 in Nepal, the Expand and Extend ICF program visited Iran in April 2015 with the same goal to develop the white water activity for women though fulfilment and leadership.

For the 9th edition of the EEWC, the Canoe Federation of Morocco welcomed in Rabat 14 young girls from four different countries: Morocco (9), Cameroun (1), Senegal (1), and Soudan (3). Most of the participants had only basic knowledge of Canoe Slalom. They were coached by Célia Jodar (MOR), second in the last African Canoe Slalom Championships, and Hind Jamili, who will represent Morocco at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

They received the visit of Nawal El Moutawakel, IOC member, Athletics champion Icham El Gerouj and the 2008 Olympic Games Canoe Slalom bronze medallist Benjamin Boukpeti (TOG).
