Transportation & shuttles
Airport to Athletes Village
The Athletes Village at Wilderness Tours main resort complex is 1.5 hour drive from the Ottawa International Airport.
Shuttles are available from the Ottawa Airport (YOW) The Ottawa Airport shuttle is $99 one way. Can can be booked by phoning +1-888-723-8669 or online.
Local Shuttle
The location of the wave and the event site is at the Lorne Rapid and the Garberator Wave on the Ottawa River. Starting August 16th, Wilderness Tours will be providing a local event site and daily river shuttle.
The local shuttle is complimentary for everyone staying at Wilderness Tours.

Event Site Spectator Parking
Parking at the Event Site will for spectators will be a $5 charge/day/car. All proceeds go to a local charity and support river access.Event Site Competitor Parking

Note:All non athletes Staying on Wilderness Tours Property must be on a meal program. Spectator Meal programs start is $39 / day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Week long meal package cost is $205 / person (14 meals) Spectators can register on the spectator registration page of this website.
Luxury units sleep up to 12 are perfect for teams. These units are heated with multiple bedrooms, full kitchen, bath and large deck. The minimum rental period for all accommodation units during the world championships is 2 weeks.

Stay Close to the Action
Wilderness Tours Adventure Resort has the best accommodations for paddlers in the Ottawa Valley and is the location of the athlete's village. Wilderness Tours does have a limited number of accommodations available. To ensure the athlete experience is paramount we can currently only accept athlete related bookings until June 15th, 2015.
