WHEN/WHERE DID YOU START CANOEING/ KAYAKING?
I began recreational open boating when I was 8 years old with my family and friends on various Eastern Canadian rivers.
REASON FOR TAKING UP THE SPORT
In 2009, I found out about slalom canoeing through my local slalom club called the "Ottawa River Runners". I thought this was a great opportunity to learn a new C1 paddling sport. In 2010, I made Junior Canadian National Team and have been paddling and competing ever since.

My very first coach James Cartwright

FAVOURITE PADDLING COURSE

AMBITIONS
Firstly, I would love to medal at World Championships one day. Secondly, it would be an honor to have the opportunity to represent my country at the Olympics if C1W is ever included in the Olympic Canoe slalom program. Lastly, I would love to complete my masters in international relations, and eventually work in this same field.
