I began canoe at age seven at the Volmolense kano club in Waalre, The Netherlands

My heart beats for kayakking. Every day I give everything I have to become a better athlete than I was the day before. Every day I am struggeling to create my way to the Olympics in Rio 2016. I believe we all have big dreams deep inside us. And I believe we all can make them come true. But no one of us can do it alone. If we help one another, we will all win.
