All athletes are urged to have their say in the election of a new ICF Athlete Committee.

The ICF Athlete Committee is an elected and appointed body of the ICF. A new Athlete Committee will be determined in 2017.

The ICF Executive Committee and Board of Directors have already confirmed following appointments to the Athletes Committee:

Hayley Jo-Nixon (South Africa - Canoe Marathon and Ocean Racing)

Claire O’Hara (Great Britain – Canoe Freestyle)

Tim Lodge (Great Britain – Paracanoe)

Amanda Reynolds (Australia – Paracanoe)

The four remaining places from Canoe Sprint and Canoe Slalom will be voted for at each of the respective World Championships (Racice, Czech Republic and Pau, France). 

Voting will be open for 4 days at the World Championships (23 – 26 August for Canoe Sprint and 25 - 28 September for Canoe Slalom) and all athletes participating at the World Championships are eligible to vote on production of their accreditation card. 

The voting booth will be located in the athlete’s area at the information office.
