The second Red Bull Sprint will be held on September the 1st in Budapest with Olympic champion Danuta Kozak, olympic medalist Marta Walczykiewicz, Maxime Beaumont and world champion Martin Fuksa all set to compete.

Only one short week after the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championship in Portugal, the Hungarian Canoe Federation will organise the second Red Bull Sprint event in Budapest. The competition will take place at the Városliget Lake, which has a breathtaking view of the historical Vajdahunyad Castle in the heart of the city.

World class competitors coming from all over Europe are going to compete in 100 metre sprints. In men’s K-1, Olympic silver medalist Maxime Beaumont from France, European champion Marko Dragosavljevic from Serbia and four world champions from Hungary (Sandor Totka, Peter Molnar, Balazs Birkas, Mark Balaska) will compete in the Red Bull sprint.

As for the women's K-1, five time olympic champion Danuta Kozak (HUN) and world champion and olympic silver medalist Marta Walczykiewicz (POL) will also participate.

In the men’s C-1, world champion Martin Fuksa from Czech Republic and European champion Zaza Nadiradze from Georgia will compete in the race. While in women’s C-1 we also have world champion Kincso Takacs and European champion Virag Balla representing Hungary.
