The waiting is finally over as Szeged plays host to the opening International Canoe Federation Canoe Sprint World Cup of the season.
Olympic and world champions will be among a stellar field of paddlers ready to lay down a marker at the Maty-er.
Television cameras are poised to capture the action with races taking place from May 16 to 18.
The ICF is working with a growing collection of broadcast partners to ensure the World Cup is televised worldwide.
TV stations in Australia, Brazil, China, Czechia, Germany, Hungary, New Zealand, Portugal and Slovakia will broadcast competition.
In addition, the ICF’s world feed broadcast will be streamed around the globe on the Planet Canoe YouTube channel, available to signed-up members.
