Tribute to outgoing ICF President Jose Perurena
National federations are invited to write a tribute to outgoing ICF President Jose Perurena. There is the option to add a short message to be shown on screen during the Congress, and a longer message to be printed in a book for Jose to keep following the Congress. Each national federation can also upload one image to accompany their text.

Arrival into Italy

Registration and voting
All national federations attending either online or in person must complete the registration. Each national federation can have a maximum of three attendees, of which one can vote. If there are three attendees from the same federation, at least one much be of each gender.
Registration has now closed. Any changes to flights or accommodation must be sent to congress@canoeicf.com
Due to the hybrid nature of the Congress, proxy voting will not be permitted for the 2021 ICF Congress.
All Congress papers will be provided online. Due to COVID there will be no physical Congress papers provided on site.
Voting will be completed by personal smartphone or computer both virtually and in the congress hall though a dedicated portal for the Congress. Login and password details will be provided to the voting delegate from each national federation in the week of the Congress.
Venue
The Congress will take place at the headquarters of the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI).

The meeting will also be available online for those who are unable to attend in person. Video conference and voting links will be made available directly to eligible, registered participants.
Accommodation
The official hotel is the Radisson Blu GHR. Prices vary from 170€ to 250€ depending on single or double room occupancy with half board (includes breakfast and dinner).
Meals
The official dinner will be held at the Radisson Blu GHR hotel on Friday 5 November. The format will be cocktail / finger food. All registered in-person attendees will receive an invitation for the official dinner.
Transportation
Transportation to/from the airport will be provided by the local organizer, based on the information provided on the registration form.
Transportation will also be provided each day between the hotel and the venue.

Masks will be required on transport and when inside the venue.
A testing area will be available for you (at the hotel or congress venue, to be confirmed soon), should you need a negative test for your flight back to your home country.
Translation
The Congress will be simultaneously translated into English, French, Spanish and Russian and be available in venue and online.
Online meeting
The online aspect of the Congress will be held on Zoom in a webinar format (watch / listen and type only). Each person registered to attend online will receive their own unique link to join each day of the Congress. This link will only be able to be used on one device at any given time.
The Congress sessions will also be live streamed on the ICF's YouTube account, Planet Canoe. Links will be available closer to the Congress.
