TARNOVSCHI (MDA) suspended

Olympic Canoe Sprint C1M 1000m bronze medallist, Serghei TARNOVSCHI (MDA) has been suspended with immediate effect following adverse results from a pre-competition test.

The 19-year-old paddler was due to contest the C2M 1000m with brother Oleg, but will now no longer be eligible and will face provisional suspension under rule 7.8 of the ICF Anti Doping Rules.
