Treasurer's Report
Dear Friends,
Before going into the specifics of the budget, I would like to say a few words about the characteristics of these four years.
In particular, about the events that have had an impact on the economic world.
We have lived through very different times. First of all, the drama of COVID-19 and then the war in Russia and Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East.
In our organisation in the ICF we have changed the Secretary General and also the bank for our daily activities and investments.
In this scenery, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for how our President Thomas Konietzko who has managed this change and also my compliments to the Secretary General and Mrs Narelle Henderson for the professional skills that have increased our budget.
In this way I can say that we are doing well and that our budget has been improved and we can look to our future activity with serenity, especially with the Chinese Federation and the Hungarian Federation.
This means that we can support all our activities with good financial coverage (headquarters, development programme, continental activity and all technical disciplines), but we must continue to carefully follow the President's investment strategy.
With transparent communication we have always invested and not spent the IOC contribution.
By Luciano Buonfiglio, Treasurer and Acting Vice President of the ICF
